New York Fashion Week

New York Fashion Week (NYFW) is one of the most influential fashion events in the world, taking place twice a year in New York City. Held in February and September, NYFW is a series of high-profile events where top designers debut their latest collections to an international audience of buyers, media, and fashion enthusiasts. While the shows are primarily by invitation, the event is a global spectacle that draws significant attention from the fashion world.

Founded by Eleanor Lambert in 1943 as a showcase for American designers, New York Fashion Week has grown into one of the most important events in the fashion calendar. Over 1,000 brands participate each season, and it remains a premier platform for designers to present their upcoming spring/summer and fall/winter collections.

The schedule typically includes major fashion weeks such as the Spring/Summer edition in September and the Fall/Winter edition in February. These events feature collections from iconic brands like Ralph Lauren, Michael Kors, Calvin Klein, and Céline, among others. This year’s New York Fashion Week will take place from September 9th to 14th, with shows held at Spring Studios, located at 50 Varick Street.
