Formula 1 - Spain

The Spanish Grand Prix is one of the most important races on the Formula 1 calendar, and it's not only the second race of the season but also one of the most popular races in Europe.

The Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya has been hosting F1 since 1913, and it's still considered one of the fastest circuits on the calendar. It's a great track with many high-speed corners and several overtaking opportunities. The circuit is located near Barcelona, making it a popular destination for tourists who want to see some action while in town.

The track is 4.675 km (2.905 miles) long and features several turns. It's an exciting track with many elevation changes, challenging corners, and fast straights. With altitude changes of around 102.2m, Spa is the F1 track with the highest elevation changes on the current calendar. The fastest drivers have reached speeds up to 372.5km/h (231.4mph), which was back in 2016 during qualifying sessions at this track. Without a doubt, the Italian Grand Prix is one of the most iconic F1 races. The 66 lap race has been held 61 times since 1913 and is considered one of the calendar's most challenging races because of its speed and low temperatures.

The next event is scheduled for 22 May 2022.
