Formula 1 - Brazil

Formula One World Championship, or F1, is the highest class of single-seat auto racing sanctioned by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA).

The "formula" in the name refers to rules to which all participants and cars must comply. F1 races are often held on purpose-built circuits, but street races are also held in major cities worldwide. The results of each race are combined to determine two annual World Championships, one for drivers and one for constructors.

The commercial aspect of F1 is controlled by Formula One Management (FOM), which also manages the licensing and promotion of the sport's commercial rights. Liberty Media Corporation has owned FOM under chairman John Malone since 2016.

The race teams are represented by their respective owners and drivers and their sponsors and partners. The sport's audience is estimated at around 70.3 million people worldwide. Grand Prix motor racing dates back to 1972 but started as a much simpler affair compared with today's high-tech competition. It was initially called the French Grand Prix because it was held at Le Mans.

The track is known for its long straights and high-speed corners, making it one of the more challenging circuits on the calendar. Drivers will need their car to be balanced to be fast around this track, which means that they will need good traction and stability from their tyres throughout each racing lap.

The next few weeks will see some exciting racing ahead of us as we head into Brazil for an emotional weekend for everyone involved with Formula One.

It will commence from November 11 - 13, 2022, in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
